IMPORTANT NEWS!
– June 2006

Our principal,
Garry Musgrave,
has retired and has dissolved Conceptron Associates
after 12 years of Audio Visual consulting.
During our last year of practice (2005/2006), we merged with
Acumen Consulting Engineers to provide a
smooth transition for our existing projects and long-term
clients, and to provide ongoing future support for our valued
clientele.
Now that Conceptron Associates has "closed shop", all future
projects should be directed to the very competent team of
designers and engineers at
Acumen, who will continue to serve you with the
diligence and competency you have come to expect.
We sincerely thank all of our clients for their support, and for
giving us the opportunity to work on some very exciting and
stimulating projects.
Note that while this web site will remain for some time as a
resource (e.g.: our
links and
articles),
it will no longer be updated.

Our past projects have included audio visual
system design and consulting for: sports arenas and stadiums, museums,
science and interpretive centres, conference and convention facilities,
planetariums, educational and
training facilities, mixed-media and presentation theatres, world's fairs and expositions,
and themed venues. To read some
testimonials provided by a few of our past clients, click here.
The AV technologies which we routinely specify for our clients include:
live production video systems for sports venues; video projection and display systems
including videowalls and large-format displays; audio and sound systems; classroom
systems; control systems for boardrooms and meeting rooms using programmable touchscreens;
show control systems for exhibits and themed attractions; teleconference and
videoconference systems; projection geometry design for video projectors including front
and rear projection screens; and conference audio and simultaneous interpretation systems.
We can help you with user requirements assessment, audiovisual system
design, architectural integration of AV equipment, disability requirements, writing of technical specifications,
tendering, bid evaluation, installation review, contract administration, and acceptance
testing. We frequently form strategic partnerships with our creative partners to provide a
complete design solution for large or complex projects.
